1937-S 5C

Description

1937-S Buffalo Nickel, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1937-S Buffalo Nickel represents a significant example from the final years of this iconic series. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, as denoted by the "S" mintmark, this coin exhibits the sharp striking and lustrous surfaces characteristic of high-grade specimens from this period. The NGC MS-67 designation indicates this nickel is in superb mint state condition, with only the most trivial imperfections visible under magnification. At this grade level, the coin displays full original luster and well-preserved design details across both obverse and reverse. The 1937-S is a desirable date in the Buffalo Nickel series, and finding examples in this caliber of preservation is increasingly challenging for modern collectors. Buffalo Nickels remain among the most beloved American coins, celebrated for their artistic merit and historical significance. This particular specimen, with its strong certification and exceptional grade, would serve as an outstanding addition to a type set or Buffalo Nickel collection. NGC Certificate #8664089006
