1949-D 10C, FB

Description

1949-D Roosevelt Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1949-D dime represents a premium example of Denver Mint coinage from the post-war era. The designation of Full Bands (FB) indicates that both horizontal bands on the reverse torch are fully separated and clearly defined, a key diagnostic feature highly sought by Roosevelt dime specialists and collectors pursuing complete sets. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Certificate #8663673003), this specimen displays excellent luster and eye appeal characteristic of high-grade Mint State examples. The 1949-D is a moderately scarce date in the Roosevelt dime series, particularly in premium Mint State grades, making this certified example an attractive acquisition for both type collectors and date specialists building comprehensive collections. The combination of superior technical quality, the desirable Full Bands designation, and the coin's historical significance as a mid-twentieth century issue makes this an appealing lot for discerning collectors of classic American coinage.
