Description
# 1883 S$1. An attractive example of this popular Morgan Dollar issue, graded NGC MS-66. The 1883 represents a key date in the Morgan Dollar series, particularly in higher grades where specimens become increasingly scarce. This piece exhibits the strong eye appeal and quality of strike characteristic of the grade, with excellent luster and well-preserved surfaces. The Morgan Dollar series remains one of the most collected American coin series, with the 1883 holding particular appeal for both type collectors and date collectors. Specimens in MS-66 condition represent a significant step above the more commonly encountered lower grades, offering both quality and rarity at an accessible level. This certified example provides confidence in its grade and authenticity. NGC Certification Number: 8664086001
