Description
# 2010-W Proof Gold Eagle 1/4 oz Red Book. This exceptional 2010-W Proof Gold Eagle represents one of the finest examples of this modern bullion proof issue. The coin features the iconic design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens on the obverse, with Lady Liberty in profile, and John Merkle's majestic eagle reverse, both rendered in brilliant proof finish. Struck at the West Point Mint and graded NGC PF70 (Certificate #502741), this quarter-ounce gold piece achieves the highest numerical grade, indicating flawless surfaces with exceptional eye appeal. The proof finish displays the characteristic mirror fields and frosted devices that define the series, presenting a striking visual contrast that collectors highly prize. The 2010-W quarter-ounce Proof Gold Eagle maintains strong collector demand, particularly in premium gem grades. This NGC PF70 example represents the pinnacle of quality for this date and denomination, offering both the prestige of a perfect grade and the enduring appeal of American Eagle gold coinage.
