Description
2008-W Proof Gold Buffalo 1/10 oz, NGC PF70. This exceptional 2008-W Proof Gold Buffalo represents one of the finest examples of this popular modern bullion series. The coin features James Earle Fraser's iconic buffalo design, originally created for the reverse of the Indian Head nickel, paired with a portrait of a Native American on the obverse. Struck at the West Point Mint and produced in fractional gold format, this 1/10 ounce piece combines numismatic appeal with precious metal content. Graded NGC PF70, this coin exhibits the full reflective fields and sharp, pristine details characteristic of the highest proof standards. The designation indicates perfect eye appeal with no visible imperfections under standard magnification. The 2008-W Proof Buffalo remains a sought-after issue among collectors of modern U.S. Mint gold coins and buffalo-themed numismatic pieces. NGC Certification #399932
