Description
1947 10C, FB (Full Bands). This exceptional 1947 Roosevelt Dime has been certified by NGC as MS-68, representing a premium example of this post-war issue. The "FB" designation indicates Full Bands on the fasces reverse, a key marker of superior striking quality and eye appeal that collectors actively seek. With a starting bid of $1,050, this lot reflects the strong collector demand for high-grade examples of this popular series. The 1947 dime is a readily available date in the Roosevelt Dime series, but finding well-preserved examples with full details and lustrous surfaces becomes increasingly challenging at this grade level. An MS-68 represents a coin that exhibits exceptional quality with only the most minute imperfections visible under magnification. The Full Bands designation further enhances the desirability, as it confirms sharp, complete definition of the horizontal lines on the reverse fasces—a feature that distinguishes premium strikes from typical examples.
