Description

1952-D Roosevelt Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS68. This exceptional 1952-D dime represents a premium example of Denver Mint coinage from the early Roosevelt series. Graded MS68 by NGC (Certificate #8523175009), this piece displays the sharp striking and lustrous surfaces characteristic of the finest specimens from this era. The Full Bands designation confirms that both vertical bands on the torch reverse are fully separated and clearly defined—a significant marker of quality that appeals to advanced collectors seeking superior strike characteristics. The 1952-D is a moderately available date in the Roosevelt dime series, though finding examples in gem condition with full bands represents a notable achievement. At the MS68 level, this dime exhibits only the most trivial imperfections under magnification, maintaining strong eye appeal and the bright, original luster expected of an uncirculated specimen. The combination of superior grade, full bands designation, and the early 1950s vintage makes this an attractive offering for both type collectors and those pursuing a comprehensive Roosevelt dime set.
