Description

1934-D Mercury Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS67. This exceptional 1934-D dime represents a premium example of Denver Mint coinage from the height of the Mercury dime series. The designation of Full Bands indicates sharp, well-defined horizontal lines on the fasces reverse, a key characteristic prized by specialized collectors of this iconic series. The Denver Mint mark is clearly visible, confirming West Coast production during this significant numismatic period. Graded NGC MS67, this coin displays outstanding preservation with lustrous surfaces and minimal contact marks befitting its high numerical grade. The Full Bands designation elevates this piece above standard examples, as many 1934-D dimes fail to exhibit the requisite reverse definition necessary for this premium classification. The eye appeal and technical quality reflected in this grade make it an attractive addition to advanced Mercury dime collections, particularly for those pursuing complete date and mint mark sets with superior eye appeal.
