1936-D 5C

Description

1936-D Buffalo Nickel, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1936-D Buffalo Nickel represents a premium example from Denver's production of this iconic series. The coin exhibits the sharp striking and lustrous surfaces characteristic of high-grade specimens from this era, with excellent preservation of design details across both obverse and reverse. The MS-67 designation from NGC indicates a coin that has seen no circulation and displays only light, scattered contact marks consistent with careful handling since its release. The 1936-D is a key date in the Buffalo Nickel series, with relatively modest mintage figures making quality examples increasingly difficult to locate. This specimen's technical grade places it well above the typical specimens encountered in the marketplace, offering both eye appeal and investment potential for serious Buffalo Nickel collectors.
