1951 10C, FB

Description

1951 Dime, Full Bands (FB), NGC MS-68. A remarkable example of a 1951-dated dime graded by NGC as MS-68 with Full Bands designation. This coin represents an exceptional find for serious dime collectors, as achieving Full Bands status on Roosevelt dimes from this era is notably challenging. The FB designation indicates that the secondary bands on the torch reverse are fully struck and clearly defined—a condition that requires optimal die alignment and striking pressure during minting. The MS-68 grade reflects a coin of outstanding quality with minimal imperfections visible to the unaided eye. At this grade level, the surfaces display lustrous mint brilliance characteristic of well-preserved mid-century coinage. The 1951 date falls within the classic Roosevelt dime era, and examples with Full Bands designation at this grade level command strong collector demand. NGC Certification Number: 6279584006. This lot represents an excellent opportunity for the advanced collector seeking premium-quality examples of 1950s dimes with exceptional strike characteristics.
