Description
1942 50C, MS67 NGC. This 1942 half dollar represents a noteworthy example from the wartime coinage period, certified by NGC as MS67. The 1942 issue occupies an important place in American numismatic history, struck during World War II when precious metal composition and production demands significantly influenced coinage practices. The MS67 grade indicates an exceptional specimen with outstanding luster and minimal imperfections. At this grade level, the coin displays full mint brilliance characteristic of uncirculated examples, with only the slightest surface marks visible under magnification. The strike quality and eye appeal of this piece make it an attractive addition to any mid-grade type or date collection. NGC Certification Number: 8663677002
