Description
1947 5C, FS. This 1947 nickel represents a notable example from the early post-war coinage era. Graded NGC 67, this piece exhibits the quality and eye appeal collectors seek from this vintage period. The coin displays the characteristic design of the Jefferson nickel series, which was in production throughout this decade. The MS-67 grade indicates a coin with exceptional luster and minimal surface marks, placing it well above typical circulated examples from this era. At this grade level, the strike detail and original mint finish are well-preserved, making it an attractive addition to any Jefferson nickel collection or type set.
