Description

1947 Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS-68. This exceptional 1947 Roosevelt Dime displays the coveted *Full Bands* designation, indicating sharp, well-defined horizontal lines on the torch reverse—a hallmark of premium strike quality. Graded NGC MS-68, this coin represents an outstanding example of early postwar coinage with impressive eye appeal and lustering surfaces. The 1947 dime is a popular date among Roosevelt Dime enthusiasts, and examples achieving the MS-68 grade with Full Bands designation are notably scarce. The Full Bands qualifier indicates superior strike characteristics that distinguish this coin from lower-quality examples of the same date and mintmark. The surfaces display the characteristic brilliance and original mint luster expected of coins preserved at this grade level. This lot represents an excellent opportunity for collectors seeking high-grade early Roosevelt Dimes with strong technical qualifications. The combination of the sought-after Full Bands designation and MS-68 grade makes this a significant piece for type collectors and date collectors alike. NGC Certification Number: 2122944017
