1880-S S$1

Description

1880-S Morgan Dollar, NGC MS67. A premium example of the scarce 1880-S Morgan dollar, graded MS67 by NGC (Cert. #8663678002). This San Francisco Mint issue represents a significant date in the Morgan dollar series, with relatively limited mintage compared to other years. The MS67 designation indicates a coin of exceptional quality with only minimal imperfections visible under magnification, placing it well above the typical circulated examples encountered by collectors. The 1880-S is a key date that attracts considerable collector interest, particularly in higher grades where examples become increasingly difficult to locate. This specimen's strong technical grade and eye appeal make it an attractive addition to advanced Morgan dollar collections or type sets. The combination of scarcity and quality preservation in this grade level positions it as a desirable offering for serious numismatists.
