Description

1949-D Roosevelt Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1949-D dime represents a significant offering for Roosevelt dime specialists and type collectors. Struck at the Denver Mint during the post-war coinage era, this example exhibits the coveted Full Bands designation, indicating sharp, well-defined horizontal lines on the reverse fasces—a challenging attribute to achieve on Denver Mint dimes of this vintage. Graded NGC MS-67, this piece displays the lustrous mint surfaces and attractive eye appeal expected at this premium Mint State level. The 1949-D is a readily available date in the Roosevelt dime series, yet finding examples with Full Bands designation in high grades remains notably challenging. The combination of strong technical quality and the Full Bands designation elevates this coin significantly above typical circulated or lower-grade examples of the date. NGC Certification: 8663673003
