Description
1995-W Proof Gold Eagle, 1/4 oz, NGC PF70. This exceptional 1995-W Proof American Gold Eagle represents one of the finest examples of this classic fractional gold issue. Struck at the West Point Mint, this quarter-ounce proof displays the characteristic mirror fields and frosted devices that define the series, with Liberty striding confidently on the obverse and the heraldic eagle on the reverse. The coin has achieved a perfect NGC PF70 designation, indicating flawless surfaces with no visible imperfections under magnification. This pristine condition is particularly noteworthy for proof gold eagles, as even minor handling or storage can compromise the delicate finish. The 1995-W proof quarter-ounce represents solid collector demand within the American Gold Eagle proof program, combining official U.S. Mint certification with the enduring appeal of fractional gold bullion. NGC Certification Number: 9891
