Description
# 1874 Gold Dollar, NGC MS-65. A handsome example of this late-date gold dollar issue, this 1874 specimen displays the characteristic features of the Type III Gold Dollar design. The coin presents attractive luster and well-preserved surfaces consistent with its MS-65 designation from NGC (Certificate #1713894012). The Gold Dollar series represents an important chapter in American coinage history, with the Type III design (1878-1889) being among the most collected variants. This piece exhibits the sharp striking and eye appeal that collectors seek in the series, with excellent preservation of detail on both obverse and reverse. Starting Bid: $1,150
