Description

# 1949 Roosevelt Dime. NGC MS-68 FB | Pristine Full Bands Example. This exceptional 1949-D Roosevelt Dime represents a pinnacle of preservation in the series, graded a remarkable MS-68 Full Bands by NGC. The coin displays extraordinary mint state quality with sharp, fully defined full split bands on the torch, a critical designation for advanced Roosevelt dime collectors. Struck at the Denver mint, this premium quality specimen exhibits exceptional luster and eye appeal. The *Full Bands* designation indicates near-perfect strike details across the fasces bands, a challenging technical achievement for this design. With only 450 coins graded at this level by NGC, this example represents a significant condition rarity in the Roosevelt dime series. The population data underscores the coin's desirability: out of 12,500 total graded, fewer than 450 examples share this outstanding technical grade. Prooflike surfaces enhance the visual appeal, creating a mirror-like field that accentuates the coin's intricate design elements. A premium collectible that would distinguish any high-grade Roosevelt dime collection. NGC Certification: 6818128002. Price Guide Value: $850
