1947 10C, FB

Description

1947 10C, FB. This exceptional 1947 Roosevelt Dime has been certified by NGC as a gem MS-68, representing a remarkable example of this post-war issue. The "FB" designation indicates Full Bands on the reverse torch, a significant marker for Roosevelt Dime specialists and a feature that commands premium valuations among collectors. The MS-68 grade places this coin at the upper echelon of the grading scale, with only minimal imperfections visible under magnification. The 1947 Roosevelt Dime is a popular date in the series, and examples in this caliber of preservation are increasingly difficult to locate. The Full Bands reverse is particularly sought after by advanced collectors, as many examples from this era show weakness in the torch bands due to die wear and striking characteristics. This specimen's combination of technical grade and desirable FB designation makes it an attractive offering for both type collectors and date specialists building high-quality Roosevelt Dime sets.
