1945-D 50C

Description

1945-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1945-D Half Dollar represents a superb example of the final year of the iconic Walking Liberty design. Struck at the Denver Mint, this coin exhibits the sharp detail and luster characteristic of high-grade specimens from the wartime coinage period. The NGC certification of MS-67 indicates a coin with outstanding eye appeal and minimal imperfections, placing it well above the typical circulated examples encountered by collectors. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar series, minted from 1916 to 1947, remains one of the most beloved designs in American numismatics. The 1945-D represents the penultimate year of production before the series' conclusion, and specimens grading in the MS-67 range are increasingly difficult to locate in the current market. This coin's technical grade reflects excellent strike quality, vibrant luster, and surfaces that have been well-preserved since its release nearly 80 years ago. With NGC Certificate Number 8742194002, this half dollar offers collectors a significant opportunity to acquire a high-grade example of this cherished American design during its final years of mintage.
