Description
1943 50C Half Dollar. This exceptional 1943 Half Dollar has been certified by NGC as MS-68, representing an outstanding example of this wartime issue. The coin exhibits the strong strike and lustrous surfaces characteristic of premium Mint State examples from this period. The MS-68 grade indicates minimal imperfections, with only the finest eye appeal distinguishing it from higher designations. The 1943 half dollar represents an important transitional year in American coinage, produced during World War II when precious metals were being conserved for military purposes. This particular specimen's superior grade places it well above typical circulated examples, making it highly desirable to both type collectors and specialists seeking high-grade wartime coinage.
