Description
1943 Half Dollar, NGC MS-67. This 1943 half dollar represents a notable example from an important wartime coinage period. The piece has been certified by NGC with a grade of MS-67, indicating an attractive mint state specimen with only light imperfections consistent with the grade. The certification number is 8663174004. The 1943 half dollars hold particular significance in American numismatic history, as they were struck during World War II when the nation's coinage composition and production were subject to wartime modifications. Examples in high mint state grades like this MS-67 are desirable to collectors seeking quality representatives of this era. This lot opens at $700 and represents a solid opportunity for collectors interested in mid-20th century United States silver coinage.
