1934 S$1

Description

1934-S Morgan Dollar, NGC MS-66. This exceptional example of the scarce 1934-S Morgan Dollar represents a significant find for serious collectors of late-date silver dollars. The San Francisco Mint issue of 1934 is notably scarce in higher grades, with relatively few pieces surviving in pristine condition. This particular specimen has been certified by NGC at the impressive MS-66 grade level, indicating a coin that combines both eye appeal and technical quality. The 1934-S is one of the final issues of the Morgan Dollar series, which ceased production in 1935 before resuming briefly in 1921. The San Francisco Mint's limited production of dollars during the early 1930s makes this date a key acquisition for type collectors and Morgan Dollar specialists alike. At the MS-66 level, this coin displays excellent luster and minimal surface disturbance, making it an attractive addition to any collection. NGC Certification Number: 8215112008
