Description

1947 10C, FB (Full Bands) - NGC MS-68. This exceptional 1947 Roosevelt Dime displays the coveted Full Bands designation, indicating sharp, complete separation of the horizontal lines on the torch reverse—a hallmark of superior strike quality. Graded MS-68 by NGC (Certificate #2084883010), this example represents the upper echelon of Mint State preservation for the date, with lustrous surfaces and minimal contact marks befitting the grade. The 1947 dime is a popular date among Roosevelt dime enthusiasts, and examples with Full Bands designation command significant premiums over their standard counterparts. This specimen's MS-68 grade places it well above average circulated and lower Mint State examples, making it an attractive addition for collectors pursuing high-grade representatives of the early postwar Roosevelt coinage. With strong eye appeal and technical merit, this piece offers both the appeal of early postwar coinage and the collecting significance of the Full Bands designation.
