Description

# 1945-D 25¢ Washington Quarter, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1945-D Washington Quarter represents a significant example from the final year of World War II coinage. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Certificate #8568855007), this piece demonstrates outstanding quality and eye appeal that places it well above typical circulated examples from this period. The 1945-D quarter was struck at the Denver Mint during a time of intense wartime production demands. This particular specimen exhibits the sharp striking characteristics and lustrous surfaces expected of a high-grade Mint State example. The MS-67 designation indicates a coin with only light, scattered contact marks consistent with careful handling since its release from the mint. Quarters from the 1945-D date remain popular with both type collectors and those specializing in Washington quarter series. The combination of strong technical quality and the historical significance of this wartime issue makes it an attractive addition to any collection. The NGC certification provides confidence in both grade and authenticity.
