1947 10C, FB

Description

1947 10C, FB, NGC MS-68. This exceptional 1947 Roosevelt Dime represents an outstanding example of early post-war coinage, certified by NGC with a grade of MS-68. The "FB" designation indicates Full Bands on the reverse fasces, a key technical attribute that collectors actively seek on Mercury and Roosevelt dimes. At this grade level, the coin exhibits outstanding luster and eye appeal with minimal imperfections, placing it well above the typical circulated examples one encounters. The 1947 dime is a readily available date in the Roosevelt series, though finding examples in this caliber of preservation is considerably more challenging. An MS-68 specimen demonstrates exceptional quality with sharp striking details and original mint brilliance. The Full Bands reverse is particularly desirable among Roosevelt dime specialists, as achieving this feature requires optimal striking and planchet quality. NGC Certification Number: 2084883010
