Description

1949-S Kennedy Half Dollar, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1949-S Half Dollar represents a significant example from the San Francisco Mint's mid-twentieth century coinage. The coin exhibits the sharp strike and lustrous surfaces characteristic of premium-grade specimens from this era. With an NGC grade of MS-67, this piece demonstrates considerable eye appeal and well-preserved mint luster across both obverse and reverse. The 1949-S is a notable date in half dollar collecting, offering collectors a desirable San Francisco Mint representative from the immediate post-war period. The MS-67 designation indicates only light, scattered contact marks consistent with the grade, preserving the coin's original brilliance and design details. This combination of grade, mint mark, and date makes it an attractive acquisition for both type collectors and those pursuing comprehensive half dollar sets. NGC Certificate #8663944009
