1945-D 25C

Description

1945-D 25¢ Washington Quarter, NGC MS-67. This 1945-D Washington Quarter represents a notable example from the final year of the wartime coinage series. Struck at the Denver Mint during the post-war period, this quarter exhibits the characteristic design elements of John Sinnock's iconic Liberty profile and eagle reverse that defined the series from its inception in 1932. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Certification #8568855007), this piece displays exceptional preservation with lustrous surfaces and minimal contact marks consistent with the assigned grade. The 1945-D is a readily available date in the Washington Quarter series, making high-grade examples particularly appealing to collectors focused on type representation or completing date and mintmark sets. The MS-67 grade positions this coin well above typical circulated examples, offering both eye appeal and numismatic merit. This quarter would serve as an excellent addition to a Washington Quarter collection or as a quality representative of mid-20th century American coinage.
