Description
1888-O Morgan Dollar, NGC MS66. This exceptional Morgan Dollar represents one of the most iconic issues in American numismatic history. Struck at the New Orleans Mint in 1888, this example has been certified by NGC and assigned a prestigious grade of MS66, placing it well above average for the date and mintmark. The 1888-O is a popular date among Morgan Dollar collectors, with strong eye appeal and solid mintage figures that make it more accessible than many key dates in the series. This particular specimen exhibits the lustrous surfaces and sharp strike definition characteristic of high-grade examples from the New Orleans facility. The MS66 designation indicates near-gem quality with only minor imperfections visible under magnification, making this an attractive choice for both type collectors and Morgan Dollar specialists. NGC Certificate #8663948008
