1947 10C, FB

Description

1947 10C, FB (Full Bands). This 1947 Roosevelt Dime has been certified by NGC as a gem MS-68, representing an exceptional example of this popular post-war issue. The "FB" designation indicates that the obverse displays Full Bands—a sought-after variety where all horizontal lines on the torch fasces are fully struck and clearly visible, a feature that can be elusive on Roosevelt dimes of this era. The 1947 dime is a readily available date in the Roosevelt series, though finding examples in gem condition with strong strike details commands collector attention. This specimen's MS-68 grade places it well above average circulated examples and represents high-end uncirculated quality. The combination of superior preservation and the desirable Full Bands strike make this an attractive piece for both type collectors and those pursuing complete Roosevelt dime sets.
