1945-D 10C, FB

Description

1945-D 10C, FB — NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1945-D Roosevelt Dime represents an outstanding example of wartime coinage from the Denver Mint. The "FB" designation indicates Full Bands on the fasces reverse, a significant eye appeal factor that collectors actively seek. The coin displays the sharp striking and luster characteristic of premium examples from this mintmark and date combination. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Cert. #8663654003), this dime exhibits excellent preservation with minimal surface marks and strong original mint luster. The Full Bands reverse is particularly noteworthy, as many circulated examples from this period show weakness in this area due to die deterioration and striking variations common during the war years. The 1945-D is a key date in the Roosevelt Dime series, with relatively modest mintage figures compared to other years. High-grade examples with Full Bands designation are increasingly difficult to locate, making this an attractive offering for both type collectors and specialists pursuing complete date and mintmark sets.
