1950-S 25C

Description

# 1950-S 25¢ (Quarter). NGC MS-67. This 1950-S Washington Quarter represents a desirable example from the San Francisco Mint's post-war coinage period. The coin exhibits the characteristic design features of John Flanagan's Washington obverse paired with the eagle reverse that defined the series from 1932 through 1964. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Certificate #8523328001), this piece displays the high quality and eye appeal expected of coins certified at this level. The San Francisco Mint mark quarters from 1950 remain popular with both type collectors and those pursuing complete date and mint mark sets of the Washington quarter series. The strong market interest in mid-grade examples of this issue reflects collector demand for well-preserved specimens from this important era of American coinage.
