Description

1936-S Mercury Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS67. This 1936-S Mercury dime represents a desirable example from the San Francisco Mint, enhanced by the presence of full bands on the reverse—a key diagnostic feature highly sought by Mercury dime specialists. The *Full Bands* designation indicates that both horizontal bands on the fasces are fully struck and separated, a condition that significantly elevates collector appeal and market value compared to examples lacking this detail. Certified by NGC at the impressive grade of MS67, this coin displays excellent luster and striking quality consistent with high-grade uncirculated Mercury dimes. The 1936-S is a moderately scarce date in the series, particularly in gem condition, making this certified example an attractive holding for both type collectors and date specialists pursuing complete Mercury dime sets.
