1972-D $1

Description

1972-D Eisenhower Dollar, NGC MS-67. This 1972-D Eisenhower dollar represents a notable example from the later years of this iconic series. Struck at the Denver Mint, as indicated by the "D" mintmark, this coin has been graded MS-67 by NGC, placing it well above average for the issue and reflecting excellent eye appeal and luster retention. The Eisenhower dollar series (1971-1978) has developed a strong collector following, with Denver Mint specimens from the early 1970s commanding particular interest. An MS-67 grade indicates superior preservation with only light surface marks consistent with the grade, making this an attractive example for both type collectors and series specialists.
