1934-D 10C, FB

Description

1934-D Roosevelt Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1934-D dime represents a significant piece of early Roosevelt coinage from the Denver Mint. The piece exhibits the coveted Full Bands (FB) designation, indicating sharp, complete vertical lines on the fasces reverse—a key characteristic that elevates this coin well above typical examples of the date and mintmark. Certified by NGC as MS-67, this dime displays outstanding luster and eye appeal consistent with the grade. The 1934-D is a moderately scarce issue in high grades, with Denver Mint production figures reflecting the early years of the Roosevelt series. The Full Bands designation further distinguishes this example, as many specimens from this period show weakness in these details due to die wear or striking characteristics. The combination of superior grade, Full Bands designation, and the inherent scarcity of high-quality 1934-D dimes makes this an attractive offering for Roosevelt type collectors and those seeking quality early-date examples from the Denver Mint.
