1947 10C, FB

Description

1947 Dime, Full Bands, NGC MS-68. This exceptional 1947 Mercury Dime represents an outstanding example of this classic series, certified by NGC with a prestigious grade of MS-68. The "FB" designation indicates the presence of Full Bands on the reverse fasces, a hallmark of superior striking quality that is notably scarce in this series. The combination of high grade and full bands makes this specimen particularly desirable to Mercury Dime specialists and type collectors alike. The 1947 date falls within the post-World War II era of dime production, a period when coinage resumed following wartime suspensions. This particular specimen's near-gem quality and exceptional strike place it well above the typical circulated examples encountered in the marketplace. The full bands reverse detail requires excellent die pressure during striking and careful preservation, both of which are evident in this certified example. NGC Certificate #2084883010
