1946 10C, FB

Description

1946 10C, FB (Full Bands). An exceptional example of this post-war Mercury dime, graded NGC MS-67. This specimen displays the sharp striking and lustrous surfaces characteristic of premium-quality examples from this era. The designation of FB (Full Bands) indicates particularly crisp definition on the fasces reverse, a key diagnostic feature that collectors actively seek in Mercury dimes. The 1946 date represents the final year of regular Mercury dime production before the design's retirement, making it a popular closing entry for type sets and series collections. At the MS-67 level, this piece exhibits only minor imperfections consistent with the grade, retaining excellent eye appeal and strong original luster. The combination of full band strike detail and high numerical grade places this coin well above average examples typically encountered in the marketplace. NGC Certification: 8663660003
