1936-D 5C

Description

1936-D Buffalo Nickel, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1936-D Buffalo Nickel represents a premium example of the classic series that has captivated collectors for generations. Struck at the Denver Mint, as indicated by the "D" mintmark, this specimen has achieved an impressive NGC MS-67 grade, placing it well above average circulated examples and into the realm of premium uncirculated coins. The 1936-D is a key date in the Buffalo Nickel series, with a mintage of just 24,424,000 pieces. High-grade examples like this certified specimen become increasingly scarce, as most examples encountered in the marketplace show signs of handling and wear. The MS-67 designation indicates exceptional eye appeal with light original patina and only minor surface marks visible under magnification—characteristics that make this coin particularly desirable to both type collectors and series specialists.
