1945-D 50C

Description

1945-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar, PCGS MS-67. This 1945-D half dollar represents a desirable example from the final year of the iconic Walking Liberty design. Struck at the Denver Mint during the final months of World War II production, this coin exhibits the high relief and artistic merit that has made the Walking Liberty series a cornerstone of American numismatic collecting. The coin has been certified by PCGS as MS-67, indicating an exceptional state of preservation with only light imperfections visible under magnification. At this grade level, the coin displays full luster and sharp striking detail across both obverse and reverse, with the walking figure and eagle design rendered with excellent definition. The 1945-D is a respectable date in the Walking Liberty series, with solid mintage figures that make it more available than earlier wartime issues, yet still sought after by collectors pursuing complete date and mintmark sets.
