1885-O S$1

Description

1885-O Morgan Dollar, NGC MS-67. This exceptional 1885-O Morgan Dollar represents a significant example from the New Orleans Mint's final year of silver dollar production. The coin exhibits the sharp striking and lustrous surfaces characteristic of high-grade specimens from this iconic series. Graded MS-67 by NGC (Certificate #6207135002), this piece displays outstanding eye appeal with well-preserved mint luster and minimal contact marks consistent with the grade. The 1885-O is a key date in Morgan Dollar collecting, with relatively limited mintage from the New Orleans facility making quality examples increasingly difficult to locate. The Morgan Dollar series remains one of America's most beloved and collected coinage programs, and this New Orleans Mint specimen offers both historical significance and numismatic appeal. An excellent opportunity for serious Morgan Dollar enthusiasts and type collectors seeking a premium example of this desirable date and mint mark combination.
